Thank You for a wonderful Valentine Event
The soft glowing red light from overhead and Karen Zimmer's sultry smooth melodies enhanced the romantic, relaxed atmosphere for those in attendance at A Global Friendship's Valentine Event last Monday, February 7th.
Friends, supporters, and board members came together for an intimate evening of drinks and conversation. The main speech touched upon goals for the organization, future events and upcoming partnerships, and attendees were able to take home a token of appreciation in support of their continued global friendship.
The staff at Betel worked diligently to provide the group with wonderful service and zesty canapes, the most notable being served on their signature Betel leaf. And the evening was so inspiring that a few guests spoke out about how AGF motivates them to act.
We can't thank you enough for your support of our mission to make the world a more beautiful place. And we look forward to your involvement in the coming months to help grow our organization and increase awareness.
Please stay tuned to newstands this week as AGF will be featured in the March issue of People Magazine.

Project HOME Journeys to South America
Last month, A Global Friendship returned from their first trip to Peru. Like many Thais and Indonesians, Peruvians lack opportunity.
According to the CIA World Fact Book, over 40% of the population lives on under $2USD a day.
Through a new partnership with Awamaki, we are working to preserve the weaving traditions of the Quechua and bring their crafts to the 70+ retail locations that currently support AGF. We are glad to welcome the weavers and two other artisans from the Sacred Valley of Peru.
Stay tuned for Give Back projects and product updates!
