The Heart for Haiti program is comprised of a series of fundraisers and community awareness events kicking off this Friday and leading up to a large scale designer T-shirt sale beginning Monday, January 10th, 2011. Your interest and support is critical in achieving our goal to raise over $50,000 in donations for Haiti.
Half of the Heart for Haiti program donations, approximately $25,000+, are earmarked for sponsorship of charity: water's clean water projects in Haiti. 100% of our donation to charity: water will be used to build clean water infrastructure in a Haitian community. The remaining donations of $25,000+ will be used to cultivate an artisan community in Haiti through AGF's main development program, Project HOME. This initiative will help Haitian people develop sustainable business practices and boost local economies for long-term change.
